Seeing the pretty pink of these impatients while I was in the Niagara region last week made me happy, since they’re one of the last summer flowers to disappear:

Goodbye summer part one
I was in the Niagara region last week and seeing these flowers made me realize how summer has come to end in this part of the world:
Lavender delight
I went to visit Bleu Lavande, the largest lavender farm in Canada, located in the Eastern Townships in Quebec. As you can see below – it was endless streams of the unique blue purple flower:
Views from the west – poppies
I love this image from my parent’s garden – these are poppies before they bloom. There’s something very ancient and yet futuristic about the stems and the buds before they bloom. Its also nice to see so much growing, especially with the endless sunny days we’ve been enjoying in the Thompson Okanagan region of British Columbia.
